GOT: Tyrion pg. 410

Summary:In this chapter, Tyrion is suffering in jail. While Mord is tormenting him, Tyrion refuses to eat even though he is starving. Tyrion gets so frustrated with Mord that he starts to yell and curse at his and Mord does not take it well. He begins to kick Tyrion and drives a steel-toed boot hard into Tyrion's ribs. While wondering what was going on outside of the walls of his cell, Tyrion ponders more about the killings of Bran and Jon Arryn. Finally after much suffering, Tyrion tells Mord that he wants to confess his crimes. He did so, but only confessed to the little crimes he has committed.

Analysis: I like this chapter because of all of the jail action that is going on. I enjoyed reading about how Tyrion was treated by Mord, and how he also rebelled against Mord a little bit and was feisty towards him. This chapter is important to the entire book because it made me think about what Tyrion's family is doing while he is in jail, and if it's really an "advantage" like he thinks it is. There is nothing I did not like about this chapter. I think that this could bring up this question for the class: When will Tyrion get out of jail? What will happen when he gets out? Should he get out of jail or stay there?
