Catelyn

In the Catelyn chapter tells a tale of her and her wounded son Bran. After Bran's had fallen from the tower, things had spiral down for the Spark's family. Catelyn refuse to sleep and to leave Bran's side. She believes he wasn't going to die. Then one of the buildings of the castle, the library area was on fire. Catelyn and Bran were immediately removed to another area, away from the fire. One of Catelyns sons Robb and the guards are checking on the fire situation, then there was small, dirty, blonde man creeping into the Bran's room. This dirty man had a weapon. He told and repeated to Catelyn "you shouldn't be here." Catelyn realized that this man was going to kill Bran. Catelyn and this man got into a fight. Then Bran's direwolf came just onto to help Catelyn fight the assassin. The direwolf attack and ripped out the mans throat. One of the staff told Catelyn that the assassin has been living in the stables unnoticed. She told Robb and the staff that someone is plotting to kill Bran. They think she is mad. Catelyn is sent off on a journey to find out who is responsible for this.


Catelyn is a very important character. She is very protective of her children. Catelyn has suspected that the fire in the library was no accident and someone is trying to kill Bran because he might hold useful information. She thinks it was the Lannister was behind this situation. She suspects Bran was thrown from the castle because he might seen something he wasn't suppose to.
