Bran 'Game of Throne'

Summary:
In this chapter Bran had to witness his first beheading with his brother Robb and half brother Jon,as there father Ned was the executor. In the wood later they find a dead mother direwolf, which is said not to be seen for the last like 2000 years. Bran found 5 direwolf pup on the scene and ask his father to keep this special wolves. with the help of Jon, Bran and Jon convinced there dad, Ned to keep the wolves and one of the pups would be given to Ned 5 children. Jon being a half brother didn't get a pup until he found a stray at the end

Discussion:
I chose this chapter because i thought it represented Bran as a 7 year old growth and what violence thing he was subjected. I also thought this introduce the plot and the bond between the 'Stark' family. The pups i thought were to represent each child of Ned. that's why Ned gave one to each of his children. The wolves represent there owners personal and tell something about them. it also links all the family member together as they go there separate ways and get married or mingle with other royal families. I liked the chapter because after Bran and all the other Stark kids from Winter-Hill received there wolves, it was like the start of each individual adventure.

For class I think it arouse discussions of medieval life, view on parenting, violence, and also symbolism in the wolves
