Chapter 3

Chapter 3 is about a 13 year old girl name Daenery Targaryen. In this chapter Daenery is forced to marry guy name Drogo. It is set for an arrange marriage by her brother older Visery. In the beginning of the story Daenery was properly bathe and perfumed by servants for a conference with Drogo. One of the servants tells Daenery how lucky she is  to be marrying a powerful rich man. In the past, Visery and Daenery were once royalty. Their father was Aery's the second was murdered and their mother had died by giving birth to Daenery. Visery had never forgiven Daenery ever since then. There was name Ser William who took the Targaryen siblings into his home; once he died the Targaryen siblings became homeless. The siblings have gone place to place but never had a stabled home. Visery is taking advantage of his sister so he could bring the royalty back . Once Daenery is prepared for the conference Visery tells her to impress and win Drogo. He mentions that she had to make things right if not she'll wake the dragon. Daenery is afraid of waking the dragon. Visery explains about the looks of Drogo; he was a well built man and he a long braid. The long braid means he never lost a fight.  Daenery becomes upset . She complains about going home, Visery tells her to put on a dollface for Drogo.

I believe Daenery is an imporant character to the story. I also chose this story because I felt like her story moved me. While reading this chapter I felt really terrible for. Daenery, who is only 13 years old; she only a child. I can relate to this because I have a couple of family members who are in an arrange marriage. Arrange marriages still exists to this very day. It's sad that people are forced to marry someone that they don't love. Women are not treated equal and it has been like this for a very long period. Visery shouldn't be so selfish with his little sister. He doesn't care what she is going through. All he cares about is having powerful and when you become greedy he might learn the hard way.
