Eddard pg 480

Summary
In this chapter, Eddard is impatiently waiting for Robert to come back from hunting. He is also preparing his leave back to Winterfell but he wants to make sure that he finishes on getting his answer to why Jon Arry died. Eddard arranges to meet with Cersi and that is when all of his suspicions are put to rest. Cersi admits that he is sleeping with her brother and that all three children are Jaime's kids and not Roberts and that she did get pregnant once by Robert but had an abortion. Cersi also admits to hurting Bran because he caught her and Jaime having sex. Eddard tells Cersi that he will tell the king all the information he knows.

Importance of Chapter
I believe that this chapter is important within the context of the larger story because Ned finds out the truth. He finds out what really and who and why happened to his son, Bran. But what i think is most interesting is that Cersi finally admits to it all and that makes me question her motives like why did she admit to it? Since she did admit to it, why did she say it straight up to Ned? What is she planning on doing now? In this chapter, you can see how Ned in a way finds Cersi to be soft and beautiful and a woman "Her every move was graceful. Her curling blond hair moved in the wind, and her eyes were green as the leaves of summer. it had been a long time since Ned Stark had seen her beauty, but he saw it now." pg 485 Though he sees her that way, it does not change how he feels about her. I also think that it will be interesting if or when Ned does go tell Robert this information what his reaction will be. Part of me thinks that he will dismiss Ned and became angry even though Robert probably knows what Ned is telling him true. Or Robert will want to give up the throne since he is secretly bitter and unhappy with being King.
