Catelyn

In this section Catelyn and Rodrik were traveling north when they decided to stop in at the Old Crossroads Inn disguised. They discuss wither they should go to her sister’s castle or her father place. Tyrion the midget also just so happens to walk in after they were sat down. Catelyn is furious at the Lanisters because of her son Bran. Then Tyrion notices Catelyn and singles her out. Lanisters where also known for killing their past lord also Catleyn’s father as well so they were not very well liked. Catleyn then ask if they were still loyal to her father and if they were take Tyrion captive and they did.

Throughout this whole book you see nothing but manipulation. Since everyone is sworn to someone they will do whatever they are told regardless what it is. Anyone could loose their life just because someone of higher rank commanded them to kill you. Just like Catelyn having her father’s loyal followers defend her. Also throughout this book it will show time and time again how greed will take over a human and will make them do things that normally they wouldn't.
