Eddard

Everyone in this chapter remembers the tragedy that happen to Lord Arryn. It is said the Lord Arryn had died of an illness. Ned had suspected that Lord Arryn natural death was no accident, he thinks that someone might of poisoned him. Maester Colemon felt like something had twisted his stomach inside. The season is a very hot summer. There has been a lot questions and answers between Ned and Pycelle. Ned is asking Pycelle Lord Arryn whereabouts before the night he died.  After the conversation had ended Ned ran into his daughter Arya, who is trying to pose like a water dancer. Arya is worried about her brother Bran and wanted to know if he come live in the castle with her but her father told her Bran needed to recover. Ned fears that Bran wouldn't be the same, he will become a crippled boy. As night falls, Sansa is having a sweet dream about Bran, that he is going to be a knight. Arya and Ned got into an argument because he suggested Arya should marry a king and rule his castle together and she refused. Ned had told Littlefinger that he was grateful for his help but he was wrong to distrust him.

This chapter is very important because it Ned thinks that someone did poison Lord Arryn. Ned questioning to Pycelle, which made it feel like interrogating situation.  His daughter Arya refused to be a kings wife because she wants to be a knight and everyone thinks she is a boy. Ned is afraid that Bran wouldn't develop fully because he had "fallen" from the tower. Bran would be crippled for life. He couldn't do a performance of a knight or make love to a women ever.
