Jon and the Black Wall

The part I thought was interesting was when the brothers and Jon were coming back from the search in the woods.  This is when Jon was thinking how he was able to be "a ranger for a day, at least. What ever may come, they cannot take that away from me" (Martin 467).  I also wanted to talk about how slightly before they were returning to the wall when Ghost was returning to Jon and Ghost had found the hand and was gnawing on the hand. The rangers eventually find the 2 people that were out with Benjen Stark, when that group of rangers went missing.  Ghost helped the rangers find the 2 guys that were out in the cold and Sam tells the group that the people were not newly dead because they would have stains all over the ground, instead they do not have stains all over the ground, but there were no stains at all.
I choose to talk about this part, because I love how Sam spoke up when he noticed that something wasn't right with the stains when the other guys were talking about how the people were probably freshly killed.  I thought it was interesting, because even when the people were trying to decide what to do with the bodies they just decided to take their bodies back to Maester Aemon. I thought this was interesting because they knew the signs of the wildlings, and knew that they had blue eyes and that animals would not go around them.
