in this chapter arya is hiding in the kings landing, she goes into a crowd where Joff is giving judgement on Ned. Ned confesses toe treatment and is brought to his knee in front of the crowd. Joff shows no mercy and has Ned executed. As Ned is about to be beheaded, Arya draw her show and tries to run through the crowd to help her father. Yoran, Ned great swordman grab her before she can get to far and tell her she must go run and cut off her hair. she now much pretend to be a boy.

this chapter was important and interesting because the head of the starks have now died and he h as been a very important character in the book and his leadership he has set in example for his children. i would say Ned is one of the last honorable character in the book and his death will make a big turning point on how the war will go and who will take the throne. everything and anything is up for grabs now and its seem like full fledged war now with Ned death, also the info Ned had known is now lost with his death, so no one but varys knows of Joff true father.
