in this chapter, Ned is locked up in a dungeon because cersei believe he is a traitor, while Ned is in the Dung, Vary's come up and talk to Ned. Vary's explains how he know about Joff and cersei secret, why his action we deem as a traitor, and how cersei was alway plotting against robert from the start. toward the end of the chapter Vary's give Ned a decision. give up his honor and join Cersei so joffrey can take the crown or be deem as a traitor and let his daughter feel the wrath of Cersei. Ned is very torn apart by the decision and doesn't know if his honor is more important than his family
i like this chapter because it left a big cliffhanger or open for question for Ned, what will Ned really do. i believe this decision will dictate the next upcoming event and who will really be on the throne. this chapter was also important because it gave a new perspective of Vary's and how he knows thing he shouldn't and is working behind the scene. saying he works for the "land of the kingdom"
